Radical Feminists Unite is a group of women in Toronto who get together on a regular basis to discuss feminism and to hold potlucks and film screenings. The political beliefs that brought us together are the following:
- Under patriarchy, women are oppressed on the basis of our sex and have a right to organize against our oppression without the presence of men.
- We define woman as someone who is born female or born intersex and raised female from birth.
- Sexual inequality is institutionalized in society. Focusing on women’s individual choices within the system misses the point. We prefer class analysis.
- Pornography and prostitution are violence against women. BDSM represents the eroticization of violence against women. We are for the Nordic model that decriminalizes the women in the sex trade and criminalizes pimps and sex buyers.
- Biological sex is innate (male/female/intersex) and gender roles are a social construct. Gender is a…

Great advice here!
I get this question so damned often I’m going to write a post about it. Ladies, it’s time to clean up your social media accounts and take back control. Here I present 3 sections, or 3 tactics, that men’s rights weirdos use to lure you in. This post is for you, so if you don’t want to waste your time, you can spot them right away.
The first thing you must learn is how MRA’s talk and their tactics. MRA’s are ‘Chairborne Rangers’, which means they sit in their parents house and scream at women online and sometimes they’ll take it offline too, this is especially truein Canada.
There are two distinct types of MRA: the older bitter divorced male and the young bitter male who is unsuccessful in relating to women.
Occasionally, you’ll get a female handmaiden but they…

I just read this on Facebook. I wasn’t able to comment but the comments that were there were the usual “transphobic BS” by some feminine names that were probably men anyway.
I have never heard of Miranda Yardley but I thought she made really good points & tried to bridge the gulf between Trans-women-who-are-really-men & those of us who are born Women & have the right to be called Women.
I linked to her Twitter account so I can start following her, because I thought: here’s a woman who knows what’s what.
As a feminist, I’d like to take a stand and say something in defence of men: I do not believe that they are worms.
That may sound uncontroversial, but you’d be surprised. A study of male and hermaphrodite worms conducted by researchers at UCL and Albert Einstein College of Medicine has shown that if you teach a male worm to associate salt with sex, he’ll seek out salt in future. This is the case even if he’s also learned to associate it with starvation. The same is not true for hermaphrodite worms (who are “essentially modified females that carry their own sperm and do not need sex in order to reproduce” – you go, girls!). The hermaphrodites would much rather be eating chocolate or whatever it is modified ladyworms eat than risk going hungry in search of a mate.
Researchers had originally planned on testing relative worm preferences for football…

I decided that my blogs had to be revamped. I needed to start blogging EVERY DAY. I read some people’s blogs & they’re not even blogging about much of anything. I keep a diary & I write on a daily basis & I don’t write about anything either. The trick to blogging is to take that private daily diary & put it out here on the internet.
I am a 55-year-old woman who is on SSI/SSD. I am on SS because of Bipolar Disease 1, arthritis & migraines. I live with 3 cats & my son, who is in college. I have two college degrees & I am a freelance writer. One of my regular gigs is writing the “Seeing the Signs” column for the Pagan Pages ezine. I am not so much a pagan as I am a spiritual feminist. I have no use for the patriarchy whatsoever. I am passionate about radical feminism.
My other blogs are “Chasing the Queen”, about Mary Queen of Scots, & “sonnets”, which speaks for itself. They too, need attention.
Right now my big project is transcribing my handwritten diary into word & saving into onto a flash drive. I have finished my childhood diary & all of the 80’s & am working my way through the 90’s. I am thinking of how I can turn this into a novel. I thought of starting still another blog which would be the novel itself but I am not sure if I am ready to take that step.
Other interests I have are cooking, needlework, collecting books & images of the Goddess. I love to hunt & fish but this is the first fall season that I am not hunting. I take two long walks everyday. I love being outdoors, whether I am in the city or the country.
